BART Procurement will hold its First Annual BART Rolling Stock and Shops Vendor Fair at the Hayward Shop on Sept. 17, 2008. Local and long-distance vendors are invited to participate. There will be four training sessions for vendors to participate in with question-and-answer time. Each will be about a half-hour long and the topics are:
- Strategic Maintenance Program
- Procurement
- Quality Assurance
- Accounts Payable Lunch will be catered and there will be a guest speaker discussing Lean Manufacturing Systems.
