BART and FSN Bay Area unveil BART tickets featuring Golden State Warriors

More than 1 million FSN Bay Area Collectors' Series tickets available beginning January 3

BART and FSN Bay Area have announced the FSN Bay Area Collectors' Series promotion for the 2005-2006 National Basketball Association season.

FSN Bay Area and BART will produce basketball card-themed BART tickets for the remainder of the 2005-2006 NBA season, highlighting select players from the Golden State Warriors and featuring the network's Warriors telecast schedule printed on the tickets.

The promotion begins Tuesday, January 3rd and will run through the end of March.

The FSN Bay Area Collectors' Series follows a similar promotion created by FSN Bay Area and BART during the 2005 Major League Baseball season for the San Francisco Giants and Oakland Athletics. The FSN Bay Area Collectors' Series was the first advertisement to be printed on BART tickets in BART's 33-year history.

The 2006 FSN Bay Area Collectors' Series promotion tips off January 3rd with over 1 million limited-edition BART tickets to be available system-wide to commuters. Each card will list player information and FSN Bay Area's schedule for the month in which the tickets are issued.

Two different cards per month will be released, each featuring Warriors players. The BART tickets will feature Troy Murphy and Mickael Pietrus in January. Mike Dunleavy and Adonal Foyle will appear in February, and Jason Richardson and Baron Davis will complete the season in March.
