BART to add longer trains for KFOG "Kaboom" Fireworks Show

Trains will provide service to an estimated 250,000 fans

BART will operate longer trains this Saturday, May 13, to serve the estimated 250,000 people attending the KFOG "KaBoom" Fireworks Show at Piers 30-32 (Embarcadero & Brannan, near AT&T Park) on the San Francisco waterfront. After the concert, additional trains will be kept on standby to help handle the crowds.

The event begins at 4 p.m., with the fireworks over the bay scheduled for 9-9:30 p.m. Piers 30-32 are just a short walk from the Embarcadero BART Station. KFOG is strongly encouraging fans to use public transit.

BART will sell flash passes good for trips to Embarcadero Station at the Dublin/Pleasanton Station from noon to 8:00 p.m. Saturday. Baseball fans can also use the flash pass to travel to the Giants/Dodgers game Saturday. After the Kaboom fireworks show, BART officials will set up a ticket table at Embarcadero Station to help riders board trains more quickly for the ride home.
