Platform work at Orinda Station

Beginning Thursday, June 8, 2006, there may be some minor train service delays while BART replaces yellow and black detection tiles on the edge of the platform at the Orinda Station. The work will take approximately four weeks to complete.

The work will take place Monday through Friday from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. and weekends from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. During these hours, there could be train delays of up to 10 minutes. BART recommends that you adjust your travel plans accordingly.

Please watch your step when entering and exiting the trains because the platform edges may be uneven.

BART will post directional signs to assist you as you use the station and BART will keep you informed of any changes through passenger bulletins and station announcements.

This work is part of a Federal Transit Administration-funded grant program for transportation system improvements.

We thank you for your patience.
