Elevator out of service on July 20, at 16th St. Mission Station

The elevator at 16th St. Mission Station will be closed and out of service on Thursday, July 20 due to scheduled work. BART will provide a free shuttle to assist mobility-impaired riders who normally rely on the elevator.

Riders who would normally exit BART at 16th St. Mission Station and use the elevator to access the street level should instead exit BART at 24th St. Mission Station. Those riders should then use the elevator at 24th St. Mission Station to reach street level, where a free paratransit shuttle will drive them to 16th St. Mission Station.

Mobility-impaired riders who normally enter the BART system at 16th St. Mission Station must enter at 24th St. Mission Station. They may use the paratransit shuttle to get from 16th St. Mission to 24th St. Mission.

The shuttle will operate from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with departures every 30 minutes. Again, this shuttle service will be free for mobility-impaired riders.

Paratransit Monitors will be present to provide assistance and information.

BART thanks you in advance for your patience and apologizes for any inconvenience you may experience because of the elevator shutdown.
