Community meeting scheduled for Saturday, March 3

BART, the City of San Leandro, Alameda County, AC Transit and Bayfair Center invite the public to a community meeting to learn about alternative access and development concepts for the Bay Fair BART Station Area.

The Bay Fair BART Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) and Access Plan Community Meeting #3 will take place Saturday, March 3 in the Community Room, 2nd level (near Macy's), Bayfair Center. The meeting begins with an open house at 9:30 a.m. A presentation and discussion follow from 10 a.m. to Noon.

Extensive input from regional, local and community partners over the past nine months helped create these development concepts around the Bay Fair BART station. BART, the City of San Leandro, Alameda County, AC Transit and Bayfair Center are once again seeking public input to help refine and shape plans for future development.

The scheduled meeting will focus on access, BART parking, development and design elements to make the community vibrant and safe. Police representatives will also be on hand to answer security questions.
