BART has opened a new "MyTransitPlus" kiosk at the Walnut Creek Station. Now Contra Costa residents have an added site to exchange a damaged BART ticket, consolidate low value BART tickets or purchase discounted BART tickets. MyTransitPlus accepts cash, debit card or commuter benefit vouchers for payment. Operating hours for the Walnut Creek MyTransitPlus kiosk are 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m and 2:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
TICKET EXCHANGE OPTIONS
You can consolidate damaged or low value blue tickets for new ones. The cash value from these tickets is credited toward the purchase of a single $5, $10, $20, $48 or $64 blue ticket. If you are a red or green ticket user, you may exchange $24 worth of printed value tickets for a new red or green ticket. Damaged "BART Plus" tickets can be exchanged for a same-period replacement.
Some restrictions apply: MyTransitPlus will not provide cash refunds; tickets submitted for exchange must have been purchased by cash or debit card (not a credit card); and there is a limit of 30 tickets per transaction.
