BART holds media briefing on continued security vigilance

BART has scheduled a media briefing for 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 29, at the Oakland City Center/12th St. BART Station. Media should meet at the 14th Street and Broadway entrance to the station. The update will include details on how BART Police are maintaining continued high vigilance in the wake of the Moscow subway bombings. Also present will be a representative of the BART Police K-9 unit. These canines are trained in explosives detection and provide highly visible patrols on trains, in stations and throughout the BART system.
