Repaving of Rockridge Station parking lots begins July 30

Beginning July 30 and continuing through September, crews will be working to repave the east parking lot at Rockridge Station. The existing lot has been deteriorating and is overdue for repaving. This repaving will keep the lot in good repair for another 15 years.

3 Phases for Repaving
Portions of the lot will be closed in 3 phases and accommodations will be made for permit-holders to have parking spaces in the lot west of College Avenue while work is being done.

Phase 1 will last 14 days and will require that disabled persons’ parking and drop off area be moved to a location near Miles Avenue. The taxi parking will move near Keith Avenue and the passenger drop off will be moved to the west parking lot. Motorcycle parking will also move to a temporary location. Download the passenger bulletin (.pdf) to view a map.

During Phase 2 and 3, all the displaced service areas in Phase 1 will return to their original locations. Please watch for barricades and signage directing you around the work area and to temporary locations.

Please download the passenger bulletin for a map of the work phases. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and appreciate your patience. If you need language assistance services, please call BART’s Transit Information Center at (510) 465-2278.
