Water intrusion repair work at Pleasant Hill Station starts Sept. 29

BART is waterproofing the track and platform areas that also act as the roofing system for the Concourse level of Pleasant Hill Station. Our goal is to stop water dripping from the ceiling at the Concourse level and stop water from collecting around the fair gates during the winter months. The work will happen over 4 (four) weekends as follows:

  • The weekend of September 29 and 30 there will be no trains on the Platform 1 side of the station; passengers traveling to Pittsburg Bay point will need to board a northbound train arriving on Platform 2.
  • The weekend of October 13 and 14 there will be no trains on the Platform 2 side of the station; passengers traveling to San Francisco will need to board a southbound train arriving on Platform 1.
  • The weekend of October 20 and 21 there will be no trains on the Platform 2 side of the station; passengers traveling to San Francisco will need to board a southbound train arriving on Platform 1.
  • The weekend of October 27 and 28 there will be no trains on the Platform 1 side of the station; passengers traveling to Pittsburg Bay point will need to board a northbound train arriving on Platform 2.
