Win free BART tickets and celebrate the earth at Blue Sky Festival April 19

People who choose BART help contribute to a cleaner environment. It is within this spirit that BART hosts the annual Blue Sky Festival. It is the region’s most collaborative Earth Day celebration where environmental organizations from all over the Bay Area gather to help educate the public about eco-friendly tips to help protect the earth.

This free festival from 11 am to 2 pm Friday is at Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco, just a short stroll from Embarcadero Station, and features great environmental information and giveaways from dozens of eco-exhibitors, live music from the Venusians, carnival games with an eco-twist and a chance for 5000 people to get a free $6.00 BART ticket.

People who get a BART Blue Sky Passport at the festival just need to fill it with stamps from six festival exhibitors and redeem it for a free $6 BART ticket. The first 5,000 people who turn in a completed passport will get a free $6 BART ticket right at the festival. Stamped passports will be entered in a drawing to win one of two folding bikes. Folding bikes are allowed on all BART trains at all times.
