Accessibility improvements at San Bruno Station

Beginning March 16 and continuing through the end of the April, crews will be working to improve the plaza sidewalks and ADA accessibility at San Bruno Station. The first phase of these improvements will require the temporary relocation of the accessible route (see map).

The route will require that people with disabilities access the station from the parking lot between the station and the mall on the southeast side and proceed around the BART Police station to the entrance. The route will be clearly marked with signs and cones.

The work will be conducted in three (3) phases:

Phase 1: Temporary relocation of the accessible route. Crews will remove and restore a concrete section in the Plaza area. Please note that after Phase 1 is complete, the existing accessible route shall be restored.

Phase 2: Crews will remove and restore a portion of concrete in the Plaza area.

Phase 3: Crews will install ADA compliant accessible tiles (see map above).

We apologize for the inconvenience this will cause you and appreciate your patience.
