Warriors parade BART's second highest ridership day

Watch the video

Tens of thousands of people chose BART as their way to travel to and from Friday's Golden State Warriors victory parade and, thanks to our riders, it all went as smoothly as a Steph Curry shot sailing through the net. The final figures are in and they show 548,078 riders used BART June 19, 2015, good enough for second place on the all-time ridership list. The top spot still belongs to the 2012 San Francisco Giants parade  with 568,068 riders. The previous number two spot was the 2010 Giants parade with 522,198 riders.

Relive the excitement of the parade and see how BART rose to the challenge of serving more than a half million people in our newest video.

Thanks again, BART riders, for making the celebration of the Warriors championship season a moving experience.

**This story has been updated to reflect final ridership numbers. On Saturday June 20th, BART released to the media preliminary figures (551,479) which have since been updated to eliminate non-revenue trips.  BART tracks daily trips using revenue generating trips only.
