Elevator flooring work at Daly City Station 9/12-9/16/2016

Updated: This week's work is on the northbound platform elevator.

We will replace the flooring in some of our elevators at Daly City Station from Monday, September 12 to Friday, September 16, 2016. We will be working on both elevators in the parking garage and the platform-level elevator in the station that serves the platform for trains to San Francisco (northbound). While the work is performed, there will be no elevator access to that platform.

We will be upgrading the splash guards and flooring in the elevators to prevent liquid from flowing under the floor and to make cleaning the elevators easier.

If you require an elevator to take a train to stations north of Daly City, you will have to board a southbound train to Colma Station, and then transfer to a northbound train there and continue back toward San Francisco.

To check if an elevator is in service before arriving at a station, please call 510-834-LIFT

(510-834-5438) or 888-2-ELEVAT (888-235-3828), or sign up for elevator status alerts at www.BART.gov/elevators. If you arrive at a station and find that the elevator(s) are out of service, you may contact a Station Agent to arrange for a lift van to take you to a nearby station with a working elevator.

We apologize for the great inconvenience this will cause you and appreciate your patience while we perform this important maintenance work.
