Temporary AC Transit bus stop change at Fruitvale Station

As part of BART’s systemwide Earthquake Safety Program, seismic retrofit work at the Fruitvale Station continues.  Due to construction activities, on Thursday, December 6, and Thursday, December 13, AC Transit lines 20, 21, and 54 will make temporary stop moves from approximately 5:00 am to 2:00 pm to accommodate earthquake safety retrofit construction.

Applies to AC Transit Line(s):  20, 21, 54    

  • Thursday, December 6, Line 20 to Downtown Oakland and Line 21 to the Oakland Airport will share the lines 20 and 21 to the Dimond District stop.
  • Thursday, December 13, Line 54 will serve the Line 20 to Downtown Oakland and Line 21 to the Oakland Airport stop.  Line 20 to Downtown Oakland and Line 21 to the Oakland Airport will share the lines 20 and 21 to the Dimond District stop.

Fruitvale Station will REMAIN OPEN for BART riders and AC Transit service will continue service during construction.
