Weekend single-tracking at Richmond Station in March

During the weekends listed below, we will close portions of the platform to replace the tiles at Richmond Station. This project will replace any broken tiles and also replace the edge strips with solid yellow strips that meet new standards.

There will be no Red Line (Richmond/Daly City) service on these Saturdays. The Orange Line (Richmond/Warm Springs) will have longer trains on these Saturdays.

Please be aware of signs and barricades which will guide you to the correct platform.

The work weekends are:

  • February 16-18 (Includes the Monday holiday)
  • March 2: In addition to having no Red Line (Richmond/Daly City) trains on Saturday, riders can expect additional delays of 5-10 minutes on the Yellow (Antioch/Millbrae) and Orange (Richmond/Warm Springs) Lines due to track replacement between the MacArthur and 19th Street Stations.  This work will prevent transfers at 19th Street from the Orange to Yellow Line.  The BART Caldecott Tunnel repair work is also taking place after 9 pm creating a 5-10 minute delay.
  • March 3: In addition to the Richmond platform work, Red Line (Richmond/Daly City) trains and two of the four Green Line (Daly City/Warm Springs) trains will be cancelled.  There will be an additional 10-15 minute delay for trains traveling between the Embarcadero and 24th Street Mission Stations due to track maintenance.
  • March 9: In addition to the Richmond platform work, the BART Caldecott Tunnel repair work is also taking place after 9 pm creating a 5-10 minute delay.
  • March 10: In addition to the Richmond platform work, Red Line (Richmond/Daly City) trains and two of the four Green Line (Daly City/Warm Springs) trains will be cancelled.  There will be an additional 10-15 minute delay for trains traveling between the Embarcadero and 24th Street Mission Stations due to track maintenance.  Delays will be 15-20 minutes after 7 pm.

We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
