Escalators out of service temporarily for inspections in downtown San Francisco 5/29-6/4 (Update)

Update: 5/16 added 4 more escalators through Tuesday, June 4, to the schedule.

On Wednesday, May 29 through Tuesday, June 4, we will remove selected escalators at some of our downtown San Francisco stations from service for 4 to 5 hours to allow inspections in advance of planned replacement work that will be done in the future (a passenger bulletin will be issued in advance of that work). The planned days/times are listed below.

Barricades will be posted around the escalators during the work. There may be changes to this plan for unforeseen circumstances.

For the most up-to-date information about these escalators or any others, you can check escalator status at http://www.bart.gov/stations/escalators.

We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
