Overnight Highway 24 lane closures 8/10 & 8/11 near Lafayette Station

BART is continuing overnight work on a major track rebuilding project between the Orinda and Walnut Creek stations.  Crews are replacing nearly 50-year-old track components to provide riders with a more reliable, quieter, and safer ride.

As part of this work, the two far-left eastbound lanes of Highway 24 near the Lafayette Station and Oak Hill Road will be closed during overnight hours on the weekend of August 10-11.  The two lanes will be closed from 11 pm Friday night until 7 am Saturday morning.  The same lanes will also be closed from 11 pm Saturday night until 9 am Sunday morning.
