Stairs closed for improvement at 19th Street Station 3/14

January 2021 Update: these stairs have now reopened.

As part of our modernization project at 19th Street Oakland Station, we have closed the staircase at the north side of the station near 20th Street. The stairs will be closed for approximately 3-4 months while we make improvements to the handrails, LED lighting, stair steps & abrasive nosing, brick tiles and install architectural glass guardrails.
