BART runs Sunday service on July 4th

Wednesday, July 4, 2007, BART operates a Sunday schedule. However, BART will keep most trains on the Dublin/Pleasanton to Daly City (Blue), Richmond to Fremont (Orange) and Pittsburg/Bay Point to Daly City (Yellow) lines between eight and ten cars long much of the day to accommodate crowds going to the various sporting events, such as the Oakland A's versus the Toronto Blue Jays game at the McAfee Coliseum in Oakland, which starts at 1:05 p.m., and the fireworks show at San Francisco's Piers 35 & 39.

BART SCHEDULES WEEK OF JULY 4TH
There will be no change to BART's normal schedules during the July 4th week, except on the holiday itself.

BARTABLE 4TH OF JULY EVENTS
There will be numerous 4th of July events that people can get to by riding BART. In San Francisco, BART riders can connect to MUNI lines from BART's downtown San Francisco stations to get to the plethora of pre-fireworks events happening from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. in and around Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. BART riders can also attend many pre-fireworks events in Oakland's Jack London Square by riding to the 12th Street Station and either taking an AC Transit bus or walking a short distance to the Square. Festivities begin at 10 a.m. For more information visit: www.jacklondonsquare.com.
