Ashby Station east parking lot to reopen April 19th

Attendant-assisted parking will be discontinued

On Monday, April 19, 2010, we will reopen the parking lot east of Ashby Station, which is adjacent to the future Ed Roberts Campus (currently under construction). At the same time we will we discontinue the attendant-assisted parking in the parking lot west of Ashby Station.

ACCESSING THE EAST PARKING LOT BY CAR
To enter and exit the parking lot by car, you will need to use the driveway on Adeline Street, which is north of the construction site.

GETTING FROM THE LOT TO THE STATION
While the Ed Roberts Campus is under construction, if you’re planning to park in that lot, to get to the Ashby Station you will need to walk to the south side of the lot, use the Woolsey Street sidewalk and proceed across Adeline Street by using crosswalk to reach the station. On the back of this bulletin you will find a map that helps explain how to drive into the lot and walk to the station.

There is no change to the daily fees or the method of parking payment, nor are there changes to the shuttle, taxi or drop off areas.

ABOUT THE ED ROBERTS CAMPUS
We appreciate your patience as crews worked on the Ed Roberts Campus. The Ed Roberts Campus will be an international center for the independent living movement. The campus will offer an array of disability-related services and programs.
