Service restored at Ashby after fatality involving person struck by train

Service has been restored in both directions at Ashby Station after a fatality involving a person struck by a train at around 12:47 p.m. on Monday. Customers should expect residual delays on the San Francisco to Richmond and Fremont to Richmond lines.

Service on three others lines -- SFO to Pittsburg/Bay Point, Dublin/Pleasanton to San Francisco and Fremont to San Francisco -- was operating essentially on time during the investigation of the incident.
