Next phase of construction at Union City Station begins Monday, Aug. 25

We are making improvements to the interior of Union City Station. The first phase was work on the elevator to the northbound platform. This phase will include improvements to the restrooms, the construction of a new elevator for the southbound platforms and various electrical projects.

The work will be completed in Spring 2015 and requires that we close a section of the southbound tunnel and take the restrooms out of service. We will also relocate some of the fare equipment (add fare machines, parking validation machines and bus transfer machines) to another area of the station.
