Temporary parking changes at Lafayette Station July 2018
We are continuing to make improvements to station access and the parking lots at Lafayette Station. When fully completed, this project will increase the number of ADA-compliant parking spaces, improve signs, replace paving, improve circulation through the lots, improve pedestrian safety and access, increase motorcycle parking, and improve the bus zones and passenger drop off areas.
On July 16 we will close the Deer Hill Road entrance to the station and reopen the Happy Valley Road entrance. There will be signs and flag persons posted to help guide you. There is a map of the changes below.
When the Happy Valley Road entrance reopens, the County Connection bus stop will move to its permanent location just west of the north station entrance (see map).
In addition, we will install a new identification sign for the station over the front entrance on July 9. We will use equipment to lift the sign into place which will cause pedestrian access to the station to be narrowed. There will be signs and employees present to guide you. This is a one-day project.
We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
