Reserved parking area at Pleasant Hill Station has been moved

Beginning Monday, April 3, 2006, BART's Reserved Parking Area will be moved from the lot on Oak Road/Wayne Drive side of the Station to the lot on the Treat Boulevard/Jones Road side of the Station.

BART Reserved Parking customers that are currently parking on the Oak Road/Wayne Drive lot will be directed to park on the Treat Boulevard/Jones Road lot.

These changes are necessary to allow modification of the Oak Road/Wayne Drive surface lot for the Professional Assisted Parking Program, which we anticipate will start mid to late April 2006. The program will assist patrons in parking during construction of the additional parking garage. A future Passenger Bulletin will outline the program.

It will take approximately two weeks to modify the Oak Road/Wayne Drive surface lot for the Professional Assisted Parking Program. During these two weeks, the Oak Road/Wayne Drive lot will be available for regular first come - first serve customer parking.

The construction work is part of the Pleasant Hill Station Transit Village Project, a development that incorporates office space, retail, and housing built on existing BART parking lots. The addition to the parking structure will provide replacement parking for all spaces that will be removed in other areas of the Station.

If you have any questions about this passenger bulletin, please call (510) 464-6235.

BART thanks you in advance for your cooperation and patience during the construction.
