Temporary Closure of Iron Horse Parkway Near Dublin/Pleasanton Station

Beginning August 28, Iron Horse Parkway near the Dublin/Pleasanton Station will be temporarily closed for up to 8 weeks as Avalon Bay Communities, in cooperation with the City of Dublin, completes major utility work to support condominium development in the vicinity.

Every effort has been made to lessen the impact of this closure but there is the potential for delays for drivers entering and exiting BART parking lots, especially during commute hours. You may wish to alter your plans to take these potential delays into account.

The following steps have been taken to minimize the impact of the closure:

  1. Traffic signal times will be adjusted to expedite access for drivers entering or exiting BART lots.
  2. The median will be modified in DeMarcus Boulevard to lengthen the second lane.

If you have any questions or concerns about the Iron Horse Parkway closure, please contact Mr. Paul Kruger of the City of Dublin at (925) 833-6630. BART apologizes for any inconvenience the work by Avalon Bay Communities may cause and thanks you in advance for your patience.
