Daly City BART elevators will be temporarily out of service for upgrades

From Monday, October 15 through Friday, October 19, BART crews will be interrupting elevator service at the Daly City Station to complete electrical improvements to the elevators.

This elevator shutdown will limit access to BART. Customers who require an elevator must make alternative travel plans during this period.

As an alternative, Daly City Station is connected to Balboa Park Station via the MUNI #54 bus which stops at street level near both stations; SamTrans #120 and #130 connect Daly City Station and Colma Station.

There are many accessible Muni options to get to the Daly City BART area and San Francisco State University.

If you have questions about alternatives routes during these elevator outages, contact Muni Accessible Services at (415) 701-4485, TTY (415) 701-4730 or at www.sfmta.com/access, or call BART Customer Services at (415) 989-BART.

Check the BART elevator hotline for the status of the elevator at (888) 235-3828.
