Concord Station repaving causes bus stop, parking relocation

Beginning Wednesday, June 18, 2008, a private contractor is working to repave all BART surface parking lots at the Concord Station. This multi-phase repaving will mean relocating the bus stops to a temporary bus pick-up area and temporary closures of surface parking as each area is repaved.

The closures will be done in phases that will last 10 to 12 days; therefore we will temporarily relocate the disabled, reserved and car pool parking as each section is repaved. We will post signage directing customers to temporary bus stops and special parking areas.

This work is part of our system-wide repaving construction maintenance program that we conduct in the summer months, when our ridership typically is lower. We'll continue to keep you informed with passenger bulletins at the station. You can also check back here or sign up for BART news updates to receive more BART information as it becomes available.

We appreciate your patience during this necessary work.
