A new series of art posters created by Bay Area illustrator Josh Ellingson started appearing in BART stations this August. These charming works celebrate the creative imaginations of our youngest riders on their "First Ride." We are looking for stories about first trips on BART to share with fellow riders on the BART website -- whether it's the story of your own trip, of taking a child on their first BART ride, or of introducing a relative or visitor to the Bay Area on BART.
All you need to do is tell us your story in 200 words or fewer by midnight October 15, 2010, making sure to complete all the details in the application form below. One story will be chosen for publication on the BART website by a BART selection committee. The author of the selected work will receive a set of all three posters autographed by Josh Ellingson.
Enter today for a chance to win your very own set of Josh Ellingson’s BART posters.
