Take BART to St. Patrick's Day Parade

On Saturday, March 16, be extra green as you head to San Francisco’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival by riding BART.  The parade begins at 11:30 a.m. at the corner of Second and Market Streets.  Participants, including BART’s own BARTmobile, will parade down Market Street to the St. Patrick’s Day Festival at Civic Center Plaza.

The Festival, which starts at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m., showcases Irish culture through live music and dancing, cultural displays, Irish food and beverages and more. This year's Festival and Parade honor the Celtic woman.

Getting There:
The St. Patrick’s Day Festival is an easy walk from the Civic Center/UN Plaza Station.  To enjoy the parade, you can exit BART at the Embarcadero, Montgomery or Powell Street stations.  To avoid crowds after the celebration, we suggest that you buy a roundtrip ticket. Plan your trip using the BART QuickPlanner
