Sidewalk improvement project happening at Ashby Station through year end

Beginning September 24 and continuing through the end of the year, crews will be working to improvement the sidewalks and driveway at Ashby Station. These improvements will require the temporary relocation of Bus Stops and ADA Parking Spaces during the sidewalk construction and asphalt resurfacing (download the Passenger Bulletin for a map of specific locations). The work will be conducted in seven (7) phases:

Phase 1: Temporary relocation of eight (8) ADA Parking Spaces for about a week in order to replace concrete sidewalk and resurface asphalt at the station access road (once the work is done, BART will return the ADA Parking Spaces to its original area).

Phase 2: Temporary relocate the bus stop to Martin Luther King Way to replace a section of sidewalk along Martin Luther King Way as well as to resurface asphalt on the road that accesses the station.

Phase 3: Replace a section of sidewalk along Martin Luther King Way.

Phase 4: Temporary relocate Bus Stop to Ashby Avenue to replace another section of sidewalk along Martin Luther King Way and resurface asphalt another section of the road.

Phase 5: Replace a section of sidewalk along Ashby Avenue.

Phase 6 and 7: Resurface and waterproof sidewalk along Adeline Street.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and appreciate your patience.
