Platform improvements at Pleasant Hill Station start 10/9

On October 9, we will start replacing the worn yellow and black platform edge tiles at the Pleasant Hill Station.

Most of the work will take place during off-peak hours between 10pm to 4am, Monday through Sunday, with some daytime hours during weekends as well. It may cause minor delays. We expect the work will be completed by approximately November 17, 2017.

The new platform edge tiles will all be yellow. This change is consistent with current codes. New door markings will be installed adjacent to the platform edge tiles. We anticipate installing a third door marker later in the year as the Fleet of the Future three-door train cars enter service.
