BART to run longer trains for holiday shoppers & travelers

Regular Sunday Service Scheduled for Christmas Day

BART will run longer trains on the line servicing San Francisco International and Oakland International airports as well as popular shopping destinations on Friday, December 23 and Saturday, December 24, 2005. Eight or nine car trains will run on the Dublin/Pleasanton (Blue) line all day both days, carrying holiday travelers and shoppers to their destinations.

BART is also adding staff at the San Francisco International Airport and Coliseum/Oakland Airport stations to assist travelers on the 23rd and 24th.

BART will run on a regular Sunday schedule on Christmas day, Sunday, December 25, 2005.

Regular weekday service will resume Monday, December 26, 2005.
