Pleasant Hill Station drop-off and pick-up areas relocated

Starting Monday April 10, 2006, the passenger drop-off and pick-up area ("kiss and ride") on the Wayne Drive side of the station will be relocated to two separate areas on the Treat Blvd./Jones Road side of the station (see map below). The passenger drop-off area should be accessed from the Jones Road entrance to the station and the passenger pick-up area should be accessed from the BART Entrance Road on Oak Road between Treat Blvd. and Wayne Drive.

In addition, the center portion of Wayne Drive adjacent to the station will closed for about two weeks as contractors remove center median in this area. Wayne Drive traffic with single lane through this area, so please watch for construction activity and drive carefully. These changes are being made as contractors prepare to build a new parking garage at the Pleasant Hill Station.

The construction work is part of the Pleasant Hill Station Transit Village Project, a development that incorporates office space, retail and housing in the area surrounding the station. The addition to the parking structure will provide replacement parking for spaces that will be removed in other areas of the station.
