BART runs limited late-night service over Labor Day weekend

After midnight, trains run hourly and to 14 stations only

Normally BART service ends each day around midnight. But this Labor Day Weekend, BART will operate all night long because Caltrans will be closing the eastbound deck of the Bay Bridge for earthquake retrofit work. So to help people get between the East Bay and San Francisco, BART will operate during the overnight hours. However, BART train service will run hourly and only serve 14 of BART's 43 stations.

The Bay Bridge closure is Eastbound only and CalTrans is sponsoring the all-night BART service. For more information about the Bay Bridge Closure log on to www.baybridgeinfo.org

The hourly, overnight service to the 14 stations will go from 1 a.m. until roughly 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 2nd, Sunday, September 3rd and Labor Day, Monday, September 4th. However, there will be no overnight BART service from 1 a.m. ? 4 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, September 5th even though the eastbound deck of the Bay Bridge is scheduled to be closed during that time.
