BART runs weekday service on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Limited number of free commemorative flash passes available
to San Francisco MLK Celebration

BART will run on a regular weekday schedule on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 15, 2007 as riders from throughout the Bay Area head to the region's largest celebration honoring the life and achievements of the late civil rights leader. BART's administrative offices will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday.

The Martin Luther King Day celebration takes place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, within easy walking distance of the Civic Center BART Station. The celebration will feature a rally, educational programs, live entertainment, arts and crafts and food.

CONTACT OBSERVANCE COMMITTEE FOR FLASH PASSES
BART will provide a limited number of commemorative Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Flash Passes to the celebration at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The Northern California Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Observance Committee will distribute the flash passes for free.
