16th Street Mission BART station elevators will be temporarily out of service

From Tuesday, April 8 through Friday, April 11, 2008, our crews will be interrupting elevator service at the 16th Street Mission Station to complete electrical improvements to the elevators. This elevator shutdown will limit access to our train platforms at this station.

If you require an elevator, you must plan ahead and make alternative travel plans during this period. If 16th Street Mission Station is your normal stop, we suggest that you take BART to either the 24th Street Mission Station or Civic Center Station and ride Muni to the 16 th Street area.

Check the BART elevator hotline for the status of the elevators at (888) 235-3828. If you have questions about public transit alternatives during these elevator outages, call BART Customer Services at (415) 989-BART or contact Muni Accessible Services at (415) 701-4485, TTY (415) 701-4730 or at www.sfmta.com/access. Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this work causes.
