Track work may cause delays on Pittsburg/Bay Point Line

Dear Customer:

Due to ongoing weekend track work, we will need to run northbound Pittsburg/Bay Point line trains on a single track.  Single tracking may result in slight delays of up to 10 to 15 minutes on weekend trains going toward Pittsburg/Bay Point Station.

We recommend that you adjust your travel plans accordingly to take the potential delays into account.

This tie replacement project is necessary to maintain the tracks on our system so we can continue to provide all our passengers a safe ride.

OCCASIONAL WEEKDAY PITTSBURG/BAY POINT LINE WORK
There may be occasions when we will need to do this work on weekdays as well. For example, our first two days of weekday work are scheduled for Monday, May 18 and Tuesday, May 19 between 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., when crews will remove brush and replace ties near the tracks between Pleasant Hill and Concord stations.

We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
