Earthquake safety work moves inside West Oakand Station

Dear Customer:

Beginning the early part of April, Earthquake Safety Program construction crews will start working inside West Oakland Station to strengthen it against earthquakes. You can expect temporary construction-related noise, dust and other detours. Crews will erect scaffolding and enclosures around work areas, which may obstruct your path through the concourse area as you head to the platform or fare gates.

Please watch for signs with safety information and future bulletins about this project. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this safety work.
