Repairs at Daly City Station April 23 -25

As part of our systemwide Earthquake Safety Program, crews have been strengthening structures here at the Daly City Station. Starting Friday, April 23 at 10 pm, necessary repairs will be performed at this station and will continue throughout the weekend. To complete this work, we will need to take "Platform 2," (the Pittsburg/Bay Point-bound platform), out of service at various times. We expect the repairs to be completed before the Monday morning commute begins on April 26.

The work should not cause any delays to our regular service; however certain trains may board on a different platform than normal. Please listen for station announcements and check the overhead destination signs before boarding your train.

As part of this urgent construction, we will need to set up temporary platform barriers near the elevator that serves Platforms 1 and 2 (where you catch East Bay-bound trains); however, the elevator will remain in service during the construction.

Please use caution while on the platform at Daly City and, as always, remain behind the yellow safety strip at the edge of the platform.

We apologize for the short notice and thank you for your patience while we perform this necessary work.
