BART runs special service Sunday, July 4th and Monday, July 5th


EXTRA SERVICE FOR FIREWORKS SHOW ON SUNDAY, JULY 4

On Sunday, July 4, BART will operate longer trains for those attending the Fisherman's Wharf / Pier 39 Independence Day fireworks display, which begins at 9:30 pm. After the show, BART will keep additional trains on standby to accommodate the extra crowds.

MINOR SERVICE REDUCTIONS ON MONDAY, JULY 5
In anticipation of light ridership on Monday, July 5th in observance of the Independence Day holiday, BART will run 15 minute service on all five lines from 4:00 am until 7:00 pm, then 20 minute service from 7:00 pm until closing (around midnight). Check BART's real time arrivals for trains in service (also available on your mobile).

BART PARKING HOLIDAY ON MONDAY, JULY 5
Parking permit and fee requirements will not be enforced in BART station parking facilities on Monday, July 5th in observance of the Independence Day holiday. A reminder: If you're planning to use long-term parking over the weekend, the only way to reserve a long-term spot is to visit www.bart.gov/parking. You can't buy a long-term permit at the station itself.

EXTRA SERVICE FOR A'S / YANKEES ON MONDAY, JULY 5
Also on Monday, July 5, BART will operate longer trains for those headed to see the Oakland A's take on the New York Yankees starting at 7:05 pm at Oakland Coliseum.
