Temporary parking changes at Ashby Station due to construction

Dear Customer:

During the week of August 9 through August 13, some areas surrounding the Ashby Station will be unavailable due to construction work on the Station Modernization Project. There will be a crane in the north parking lot that will be moving steel into position for construction during the day. A "safety area" will be set up which will cut off access to part of the sidewalk, parking lot and roadway. Access will also be cut off to the bicycle lockers under the Adeline Street Plaza at the Concourse level. We apologize in advance for the inconvenience this will cause.

Access to the north parking lot will be open until 9 a.m.; then, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. access will be restricted while the steel is being lifted and bolted in place. Flagpeople will control traffic flow during these hours. Access will be unrestricted after 4 p.m. The areas of the parking lot where the cranes are to be located will be closed to parking. The closures will take place in two phases. Phase 1 will be Monday, August 9, and Tuesday, August 10.  Phase 2 will be Wednesday, August 11, and Thursday, August 12.
