APTA urges transit supporters to sign petition to Congress to increase investment in transit

The American Public Transportation Association is asking transit supporters to sign a petition urging Congress to increase investment in public transportation. "By investing now, we can create jobs, strengthen our economy, reduce our dependence on oil, protect our environment and create a better quality of life," the petition states.

If you support public transportation, sign the petition -- it's easy using the online form. APTA will present the petition to members of Congress on Wednesday, September 22.
