BART adds extra service for Chinese New Year Parade in San Francisco

BART plans to run longer trains to accommodate the large crowds expected to attend the Chinese New Year Festival and Parade in San Francisco Saturday, Feb. 19. In addition, there will be extra trains operating after the parade for customers headed home.

The parade is scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m. at the intersection of 2nd and Market. It will loop around Geary and Powell, and end at Kearney and Columbus. BART customer should exit at Montgomery or Powell Street Station.
