How to receive timely information about BART service as Mehserle is released from jail

We know many of our customers are concerned about BART's service plan should there be any public reaction to the release of Johannes Mehserle. BART will use its website, mobile website, text alerts, email alerts and phone system to update you on any changes we may make to BART service.

Our goal is to ensure your safety and to keep trains moving. BART Police and Operations staff are working closely with local law enforcement agencies to coordinate plans. As circumstances warrant, we may need to close some stations temporarily or make other service adjustment on short notice. We will publish timely service advisories as often as necessary and expeditiously as possible.
