17th St. entrance to 19th Street Station closed until March 6, 2015

On Tuesday, February 3, the City of Oakland will begin its final phase of construction on the 17th Street Gateway entrance to the 19th Street BART Station. This is the station’s southwesterly most station entrance that provides direct access to both Broadway and Telegraph Avenue between 17th and 19th Streets. This final phase of construction will include the installation of glass panels along the walkway adjacent to their recently installed artwork. The project will be completed by March 6, 2015.

This entrance will be closed from February 3, 2015 until March 6, 2015. There will be no access to and from the BART Station from this entrance during this time. Click here to see a map of the closed area.

This will conclude the work on this entrance. Copies of current and prior bulletins, as well as additional information regarding the project can be obtained by contacting the City of Oakland at (510) 238-2299.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
