As part of the BART systemwide Earthquake Safety Program, BART crews will begin efforts to prepare Embarcadero Station to better withstand future earthquakes.  This work will require each of the six Embarcadero Station entrances to be closed during various stages of construction. Work will take place during daytime and nighttime hours, and will be enclosed within fenced-in plywood barriers. This work is expected to begin in early August and last through fall 2015*. We will be replacing the decorative granite trim at each entrance.
