BART employees to sell cupcakes for “Shop with a Cop” program

Kupcakes for KidsBART employees have teamed up to help underprivileged Bay Area kids go on a holiday shopping spree for toys, clothes and school supplies.  To help raise funds to support BART Police’s annual “Shop with a Cop” program, employees are holding a gourmet cupcake sale at the BART headquarters on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 11am-2pm, featuring local bakeries who kindly donated cupcakes for the cause.

We are asking for a $5 donation for each cupcake.  100% of the money raised from the sale will be combined with monetary donations from BART employees to help pay for gift cards valued at $100 each from Walmart. On December 16, 2015, BART Police Officers will accompany children as coordinated through the Police Activities League to a local Walmart where each child will go Christmas shopping.
