Wheels increases bus service to Dublin/Pleasanton Station

Wheels launched a series of route changes to improve access to BART and other key destinations in the Tri-Valley.

Highest priority in the package of service changes is improved access to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART Station.  BART riders can now connect directly to the station with ten new and modified routes. What’s more, Wheels has rolled out a new Rapid service that is now two routes, the 10R and 30R, that both operate every 15 minutes between 5:00a-7:00p on weekdays, providing a connection to every BART train departure during those times. These routes provide a much-needed alternative for BART riders looking to avoid driving to the station.

Wheels also introduced new Route 580X that operates between the Livermore Transit Center in Downtown Livermore and the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station during commute times on weekdays. Route 580X makes only two local stops and utilizes the HOT lanes on I-580 to get passengers to BART in record time.

Additionally, Las Positas College students and faculty can take advantage of bus service connecting directly to BART from the college via Route 30R, all rapid buses are equipped with premium amenities such as upgraded seating, near future Wi-Fi, and outlet charger for portable electronics.
