BART Police are seeking the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Ashlyn Spellman of Lafayette.

Spellman attended a Shakespeare summer camp on Thursday where she is a high school volunteer.  Two coordinators from the camp dropped her off at the North Berkeley BART Station at 3:45pm.  Spellman was supposed to take the train to Lafayette to return home.

BART Police have surveillance video of her entering the North Berkeley Station.

Our investigation up to this point has found she was with a friend in San Francisco having pizza Thursday evening. The individual she was with reports at 8:30pm she said she was heading to Oakland via BART.

She did not have her cellphone or debit card in her possession. She has yet to return home.
